Question about firmware update

When I try to create an action in the Tapo app with my Tapo c200 camera, it just says ”supported firmware coming soon”. I was just wondering if you know when that firmware update will come?

Hi
I had all my Christmas tree lights hooked up to my smart plug with an auto timer to come on and off.
I have tried to use the same plugs for similar things, one plug works and the same type plug used a month ago now says “supported firmware coming soon”.
What has happened?

The new firmware that supports this feature is on the way and you might need to wait for a while;

I just buied some tapo C200, duo the suport to google and alexa. But not even trough the Tapo app a can set any smart actions. Im thinking to return the devices. There is no ETA to update the functionality?

Thank you for being interested in Tapo smart Action feature.
Regretfully currently only certain tapo plug & tapo bulb supports smart action feature, tapo camera smart action part is still under development and the ETA is not yet confirmed.
It is recommended to keep on eye on the firmware release note of tapo camera for this feature on Tapo app.

Let me guess... still no ETA on the new fw?
I know the global pandemic crippled many businesses, but come on, how hard it is to integrate current functionality (ie motion detection, person detection) into some kind of basic smart scenarios?
