We can view the cameras on the tv via Alexa but the quality is appalling making the experience pointless. Are we missing an option somewhere? I can't imagine they'd make this a selling point on these cameras if the picture quality is as bad as we are seeing.
We have 3x C200 cameras all with the latest firmware and the TV is a 4K LG.

Incindentally like others when viewing on our iPads we regularly have to change from LQ to HQ, this is despite a stable internet connection and all cameras and iPad well within range of the router. Tech support always fob me off when I complain. Why can't we have an option to force HQ in the settings?

@SimonN  Hello,

When the mobile phone is connected to home wifi, you are able to set Video quality HQ or LQ on Tapo app.

If the video quality is set as HQ on Tapo app, how about the video quality on the fire TV? If possible, please share a photo on TV when video quality is on HQ/LQ on fire TV.

How many phones are view camera at the same time?

When viewing the camera remotely ( mobile phone is outside the local network) video quality will turn into LQ (360P) automatically to ensure a smooth Live View in a  low bandwidth environment

@Solla-topee

To be clear we never view the cameras remotely. The iPad that is used to view the cameras does not leave the house and is only WiFi capable.

It is never a low bandwidth environment, our current connection speed is Downstream: 63.133 Mbps Upstream: 18.493 Mbps and nothing is being downloaded or streamed at the time of viewing on any device in the house. The fire tv cube is connected to the router with an Ethernet cable.

I cannot see any options on the fire tv cube to select LQ or HQ. There is no app for it, we just ask Alexa to show it. The cameras are linked to Alexa with the Tapo app on the iPad. I also cannot see any Alexa specific options in the iPad app.

Changing between LQ and HQ whilst viewing the cameras on the iPad does not affect the image on the tv.

Almost every time I view the cameras on the iPad it defaults to LQ and I have to select HQ. It never remembers the choice and as I said it's only used on WiFi.

Here is an example of 2 of the cameras, not sure if you can tell but they are very pixelated on the TV. On the iPad in HQ they look clear.

  @Solla-topee Another thread that has no conclusion. How about fixing the low quality picture when viewing on a firestick?
