I've just purchased two C310's from the same store. One of them has firmware 1.0.14, the other has 1.0.7. The camera running 1.0.7 occasionally loses connection to my NAS, and also is missing some motion detection features available on the other camera.
I've tried using both the iOS and macOS app to update the firmware on the camera: however, clicking on "Check for Update" doesn't do anything apart from the "checkbox" at the top of the screen redraws almost instantly - it certainly doesn't appear to be checking for anything. Both cameras are currently located in the same room as a Wifi endpoint and have a strong signal.
How can I update the camera(s) to the latest firmware, beyond returning them to the store?

As Tapo C310 V1 firmware launch process may take longer in the process of being pushed to every Tapo users, we put the Tapo C310 V1 current latest firmware on the new thread below, you are now able to manually upgrade the firmware! @KenDFish i have the problem! Both cameras mounted on the roof, in the same place, bitg cameras bought from the same store, but different versions of firmware. One is 1.0.14 and the other one is 1.0.7. if i check for a new version, nothing!

I am also having issue with firmware version update. I bought 4ea of C310: two are of version 1.0.13, one is 1.0.14 and last one is 1.0.7. The version 1.0.14 has addition 'detection & alerts' functions like 'line-crossing detection, 'area trusion detection' and 'camera tempering'. Version 1.0.7 does not have the addition functions and cannot share device.
Can someone advise on the manual update method? I am hoping to try out if it will enable access to the share device and additional functions.

@KenDFish or @Solla-topee can you please help us to know how to manually update the C310 firmware? I have the same issue than the others above, two cameras and different firmware versions, although the same hardware versions and the updated tapo app (android) keeps saying there is no update for it.

@ACavalari As far as I know Tapo C310 has a new firmware on launch process, it is recommended to wait for another few weeks , should be before mid of Oct and see if there any available firmware update. Please also check my private message
