When asking alexa to show tapo camera on firestick 4k, the picture is blocky, even the time stamp is blocky...
Viewed on echo show 5 and 8 is clear
Viewed on pc is clear
My pc is using my 43 inch TV as monitor.
Fire stick using same TV.
Can't figure out why the live feed on firestick is such a low resolution.
My neos camera view clear on my firestick.

Thank you for your valuable feedback. You could try to switch to 1080P on Tapo APP, and see if there is anything different.
Can you share the photos when use Alexa vs PC to view camera on TV, the model of your TV & Firestick thank you

Switching to 1080p or data saving or 3mp makes no difference there all very blocky when viewed on amazon fire stick 4k.
My TV is 4k, the firestick is hard wired to my router.
But viewing neos cameras picture is perfect.
Tapo c210 like watching pirate dvd blocky as anything.

@Designerappz Thank you for providing the photos, as TV is much bigger than the display on mobile devices , bigger display will 'zoom' the image and make it looks bulky. May I have the photos when cast from PC to TV, and use Alexa to watch camera on TV as comparison?

I can't grab a screenshot from my firestick, my graphics card is set to 4k in my pc, picture is fine when viewed on it. Using 43 inch TV via Hdmi.
As for the firestick it's also 4k, as is my TV. 43 inch.
Using hdmi.
Using my mobile to grab a pic defeats object as it reduces resolution.
My only advice would be try a firestick 4k, and tapo c210 and see for yourself it's blocky...

Hi, you recently replied via email, saying sorry view is only low quality, so 720p data when using a firestick.
How come the same camera c210 outputs stream1, to the app on your mobile, or to a pc.
So i bought a 3mp camera that basically iis 720p when viewed on firestick, so NOT 3MP...
is this a fault with the skill or camera.

@Designerappz I find the above reply very concerning. The c210 should be able to display a 3MP image on a TV - most TV broadcasts are full HD (1080p) and look very good - the resolution of the camera is higher so the picture quality should be good and not blocky.
I have the same issue - Picture is fine on my computer monitor (1080p) 24", but looks poor when viewed on my 1080p TV 50"

As far as I could tell, Tapo camera Alexa streaming is currently set on LQ resolution to reduce the possible lag and improve overall streaming experience.
We appreciate your suggestion with camera resolution when stream via Alexa, we would like to add it to the feature request for further evaluation.
If any user request the same, please leave your comment below or share your idea on Feature Request board, that will help with the feature evaluation.
