Model: KS230 KIT
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.10

Just received a KS230 Kit from Amazon, pretty sure I've installed it correctly, however the satellite is completely dead.

The satellite is still passing though power to the light fixture, so the master is able to control the light (on/off/brightness) , but the satellite is not illuminated at all and completely unresponsive to any touch.

I have noticed that the Master seems to have its 5th brightness dot from the left permanently illuminated, I'm wondering if this is a diagnostic message of some kind.  If anyone knows what this dot being on means, kindly share.

Also, if anyone knows where to find directions on how to re-flash the firmware on these let me know as well, I'd like to try that before I go through the trouble of ripping them out of my wall and returning them to Amazon.

Hello @Deftdawg

Your device firmware is the already the latet. If satellite KS230 could not control light at all, that usually related to the wiring, not firmware , please check TR1 and TR2 on satellite switch, and the Load wire on Satellite switches thread here:

[Troubleshooting]:KS230 3 Way Dimmer Secondary Switch not working

Please share the photo of wings on your old switch and KS230 KIT to support email as mentioned  in the above thread and we will have a specialist to look into further. Thank you
