Hi,

 

I have completed all the setting thru wifi. Am I able to use the camera without connection to wifi? I just want the camera to recording, is that possible? I want to put the camera in a place which doesn't have a wifi connection, does it still will be able to recording without connecting to wifi?

Hello   @Alant1988 

Tapo camera need Wi-Fi with internet to set it up in app first. 

Camera  Live view & SD r ecording will still  work when there is no internet on the Wi-Fi, while camera itself need always connected to the wifi so its gets an IP address of router and interacts with the phone that is also in the same wifi network, for details check QA here.  

Q6.6 Can I use my Tapo camera anywhere if there is no internet?
