Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.1.16

Hi

When motion is detected the C200 does not record to the SD card or anywhere else.

If I go to 'Playback & Memory' there are no recordings. However, I can record video & take photos from 'Playback'. & they are stored on the SD card.

All the relevant settings are correct such as:

Camera Settings - Detection & Alerts is set to on.

Motion Detection is on

Recording Schedule is set to orange across the board.

I've updated the Firmware, I've rebooted the camera several times & I've now run out of ideas.

Any suggestions?

I've reformatted the SD card & the C200 now appears to be working.

  @David-A 

Thank you for the feedback, please go to recording and enable Continues recording, will  camera record videos there? If still no recording, it could be related to SD card, try a different SD card. 

If continous recording works fine, can you check if motion is detected by camera and trigger the motion event. 

  • Check if motion is detected by camera first:  try turning Alarm for cameras and see if alarm goes off when a motion is detected? 

If motion does not trigger the Alarm,  try to Confirm Motion Detection is 'ON', and  set up proper Activity zone & Sensitivity settings as instruction here
