Hello   @Stian1

With Tapo APP Shortcut feature, you should be able to turn on/off one or a group of Tapo device with one tap.

Please check if this works for you.

Add Shortcut - Action: turn on the light strip

How to create Smart Action (automation or a shortcut) of my Tapo device (smart bulb, smart plug, smart camera)

  @Solla-topee

Hi Solla, yes one can create a shortcut to change the color to red for example on all lightstrip. But what if you want to change it to blue?
Create another shortcut? what if you want to change the brightness?

How many predefined shortcuts do you have to create :D ?!

So each time you want to change something you have to create a new shortcut, which will cost you more time than controlling each light strip indivisually.

Grouping should be supported for light strips, creating shortcuts for 1 specific theme is not the best way to control multiple light strips.

In the google home app you can already control multiple tapo devices (including light stips) at the same time.

  @Stian1

Google home app can do it.. Sadly not the tapo app.

 Hello  @Leo-B

Thank you for sharing more detailed user case for this feature request, it helps understand this request better.

Agree that it would be much better if it is possible to adjust the color/ brightness of the light strip in a group.

We will add this feature in the feature request list for consideration.
