  @Wayne-TP

Thanks for the notice and for the update.  I have tested my Android version and it seems to be working correctly now, hopefully this will remain the case as I start using the device  in earnest again.

As you will be aware, the original release of the new app and firmware made the devices virtually useless for over a month.  Please ensure in future that new releases are tested before being released.  The massive number of issues strongly suggests that this was not done with the P110.

Thanks, though, for the new export feature, which I, amongst others, requested.  It will make the device even more useful.

Not sure if it's relevant but my P110 now fails to turn off the power.

It does however stop recording the energy usage when the schedule says Power Off.

The switch on the side also fails to turn the power off.

Could just be coincidental but it has always worked until recently. Can't be sure exactly when it stopped working.

I have done a reset but that failed to make a difference.

Running Firmware 1.1.6 Build 221114 Rel.203339

Edit: Just browsing other threads and this seems to be a relatively common event so looks like a hardware issue due to poor components or manufacturing.

It appears that since we changed to a new month (1st December), the Energy Monitoring - Year tab (which was the only tab working correctly previously) now states:

"There is no data yet" on both of my P110's.

Can anyone else please check if this is the case for them.

From your update to the main post on 28/11

11/28 Update:
1. Latest Tapo APP version: Android 2.11.40, iOS: 2.11.5
2. New Firmware 1.1.6 has released for both Tapo P110 and Tapo P115.

I have been to the Google Play Store and only version 2.11.23 is available, although it gives the update date as 29 Nov 22, as you can see below, so I cannot update to version 2.11.40.

I have seen the same problem with rolling over to December as the previous two replies - the Year graph displays 'No data yet'.

So, a definite improvement in the app, but it's still buggy as yet.  Maybe this is fixed in the new version, but until I can download it, I can't say.

Thanks

  @QuestionReality

I'm getting 'No data yet' too.  What version of the app are you using.  I can't update my Android to the 2.11.40, the Play Store only shows 2.11.23.

  @NyGabor  @SteveTheBee

Thank you for your replies. Looks like it is another bug.

This morning I was using Android App 2.11.40, but have just updated to 2.11.43 from Play Store.

Unfortunately the 'Year' tab problem - "There is no data yet" does not appear to have been fixed.

The date on Play Store for v 2.11.43 is 28/11/2022, and the what's new states bug fixes and improved stability.

Whilst I appreciate there are problems with the Tapo Plug Energy Monitoring 2.0 Update at present and that they are being investigated, can I ask a question that will become important at the end of the year?

In both 'Day' view and 'Month' view you can swipe to go back (7 days or 3 months) as indicated by the dots:

In year view there is no such indicator.

The question is what will happen on the 1st January 2023? Will the now 'previous' year (2022) history suddenly become unavailable?

@Solla-topee

With the latest problem with the "Year" tab, can I also point back to the post I made on 27th October. I have not had a definitive answer so it is likely there will be further problems on 1st January 2023. Can we please get this looked into.

With the

iPhone iOS Tapo App version 2.11.24

and

P110 V1.0 Firmware 1.1.6

I do NOT see this problem with the "Year" tab

at first glance (I had a very brief look through all the graphs, calendar etc.) it all appears to be working for me

Maybe it is just an Android problem?
