Tapo C210: Home/Away Mode Shortcut/Automation Support
Let us please toggle Home and Away modes using Shortcuts and thereby Alexa, it isn't very pleasant to always head into the app and navigate into camera settings just to change modes.

I cannot believe that this most basic functionality is missing. I will be returning my cameras, sensors, buttons, and hub and looking for something better.

Absolutely a must have. Home and away modes should be available in automation and shortcuts. A single shortcut should be able to enable/disable notifications and switch between home and Away mode.

@LeonWasTaken Now that there's geofencing in Tapo Lab it would be SWEET to be able to automate
WHEN my device (or my device and my wife's device) is not home
THEN Set camera(s) to AWAY mode

Just came looking for this feature in November 2024, this should really have been added by now! Obviously we leave and return home often, this should be automated or at least have the ability to create a widget shortcut!
