Please let us either use geolocation or a widget on ios to turn off/on home/away mode

I don’t understand why you guys can’t make this available for so long when I should be able to simply control home/away mode in my automations!

This is so needed feature for tapo cameras. I don't get why it is not yet introduced. I have impression that tapo doesn't get seriously request of users. This is asked almost for last 3 years. I have invested in whole set of tapo sensors and cameras but the lack of some really basic and logical smart actions makes me do not recommend tapo products anymore.

Linking camera notification modes (away/home) has several great benefits.

 

When at home I don't want camera notifications and several automations to run. With modes and automations linking I can

- change mode via geo fencing automation

- use mode changes as trigger for automations, so that wouldn't need to toggle multiple switches when leaving/entering home.

 

Current problems:

- automations can't turn on/off camera notifications

- notification modes toggling can't be automated

- automations are not aware of notifications mode.

 

A possible alternative has a major drawback. One could migrate away from native camera notifications (controlled by home/away modes) and create automation for each camera to send a notification about detected event. Thanks to per camera automation, notification can contain manually added info about which camera it came from, but still would be missing link to see captured event. Here it would be super helpful if automation notifications could contain link to the event that triggered it.
