Please implement it. It is crucial for security/safety reasons.

Ideally:

TRIGGER:

P110 power > 200W

IF:

Duration > 30 min

THEN:

P110 Off

Absolutely and desperately needed as i a own a small photovoltaic installation (600W) which could be used in soft automation with the tapo smart plugs.

E.g. turn on the washing machine as soon as =>400W solar energy is being produced.

@Agius We need this feature ASAP the only reason I got the smart plugs was for this, about half the appliances in my home are new smart devices so I can get notifications when my dryer is done or the dishwasher is complete. I got these plugs for the same notification ability. for my washer, I wanted to set up a notification I.E. once the power consumption decreases after the spin cycle, I can set a notification or for my dehumidifier, if the filter gets blocked or the tank fills and the system powers down I would want the plug to get me a notification.

the whole power on/off feature of these plugs barely makes any sense anyway. most electronics had an independent power button that needs to be pressed besides lamps and my uncles 20 year old coffee maker.

if anyone knows how I can get this kind of notification without buying a whole hub system? please email me I currently have the smart things app set up to send my phone the notifications for my dryer and dishwasher.

Much needed feature. I will try charge guard. Thanks for the idea.

Hi, thats a nice function, but does not help in the most requested use cases. I can cut the power once a threshhold is reached - but we still can not do any automation that triggers when a certain power reading is reached (e.g. my last example, turn on device as soon as solar power reaches >xxx Watt.)
