Firmware upgrade
I've purchased 2 Tapo C510W outdoor camera. One upgraded the firmware to V1.0.8 at the first time, but I cannot upgrade the second one to the latest firmware. It is still V1.0.0. Tha Tapo app says every camer firmeare is up to date. What to do to upgrade?

@newjsag the same thing happened to me but all of my C510W has updated to 1.0.8 after some days. TP-Link Tapo will release the firmware update gradually, as what they said.

Hi,
We are releasing the firmware gradually for the Tapo C510W thus some cameras see the new firmware but some do not. Please wait patiently and pay attention to the notice on the Tapo app, you can update the firmware via the Tapo app when your other Tapo C510W detects the new firmware.
How to update the firmware of Tapo devices in the Tapo App

@newjsag Hello, I have TAPO C500W and after the firmware upgrade to 1.0.8 all my videos are currupted. After the upgrade all my videos in tapo care are corrupted afrer first 3s. After detection the moving object wanishes and sometimes it appears at last 1s of video. Sometimes video time counting jumps over 10s. Then there is no content for this skipped time. Restart didn't help. I don't use sd card. I only use tapo care. How i can revert to previous firmware version?

@cermis I've checked the camera with the firmware 1.0.8 and I have the same issue with the videos. The 1.0.0 works fine. If it is possibile to downgrade I will do.

Thank you for the case report. Please help collect the following information about the issue for further analysis.
1. Do you have a problem when watching the video recordings on the Tapo app directly?
2. If you download the video recordings from the cloud server and then watch them, does the same issue happen?
3. Can you share a video recording of the problem with us? You can send me a link via private message to download the video.

1. Yes. Issue in Tapo app.
2. Same issue in tapo cloud, same issue in downloaded video to tapo app, same issue when i download video into phone gallery.

Hi,
On the Tapo app, please go to the Camera Settings page of your camera>Advanced Settings>Display Settings, select the Compatible Mode, and check if the problem is solved.
