Tapo app more camera modes needed

So we have 2 modes: home and away, that can change all at once all cameras. What if I need a new mode, like "sleeping" when cameras downstairs need to be on detecting mode.
Home mode - outside cameras on detecting mode, indoor cameras on detecting off
Away mode - all cameras on detecting mode
Sleeping mode - outside cameras on detecting mode, indoor cameras, some on privacy and some on detecting mode.
And other combinations. Why can't we add new mode and switch between them as needed?

Bump please!
More (and customisable) camera modes; not just the single 'Home' and 'Away' options controlling ALL cameras in the account.
In my case I have 6 cameras, but spread over two properties/locations. It would be great if I could:
- Have separate Home and Away modes for each property or different zones.
- Have the cameras running all the time for surveillance, but not receive notifications unnecessarily. Hence the Privacy mode is not suitable in this case.
- Place Cameras into 'Groups' (I could only manage to do this for switches/plugs), and then have a customisable action for the Camera Group.
- Be able to automate, or set a custom mode for a Camera Group.
E.g. using a smart switch by the front door to activate/deactivate the Home/Away modes. Or use the geofence feature to automate the camera group. Or to create a 'Sleep' mode for some cameras, but not others etc.
I see that the original post by @dutchsnowden is more than a year old now. I hope this feature is being progressed!
As it is now, the single 'Home' and 'Away' options, when pressed, resets the surveillance settings for ALL cameras, and it is incredibly frustrating to have to manually re-adjust each camera's settings to get them back to their desired set-up.
Thanks!

Hi everyone.
I have a similar problem too.
I have two houses with some cameras in each, one house in the city and one in the mountains.
I don't want turn off my cameras or enter in privacy mode, but only activate or deactivate the notifications, depending on the house I'm in.
When I'm in my mountain house, I'd like to activate the notifications in cameras in city house.
Vice versa, when I'm in my city house, I'd like to activate the notifications in cameras in mountain house.
For now, I have solved it by considering "Home" the cameras of the city house and "Away" those of the mountain house.
So I touch "Home" when I am in the city and "Away" when I am in the mountains.
The problem arises when I am traveling and, to activate ALL the cameras, I have to act on the settings of each one.
I ask that it be possible to set notifications for each group of cameras and not just (as it is now) for all of them.

Instead of using home and Away, I have set up Shortcuts which turn everything on and off as necessary. This works really well, apart from the lakc of notification control on the cameras.
What is missing is Notification control for the cameras, as a Shortcut "action".
There is a Notification action for the sensors but not for the cameras.
Current Sensor Action options:
Current Camera Actions:
If we had "Turn on" and "Turn Off" notifications for the cameras as well, we could leave them running (that's what I want) and simply stop the notifications via the shortcut.
Using Me>Notifications>Management is unwieldy and clumsy.
Could we please have noticiation control added to the camera shortcut actions.
Thanks!
FYI, here is my current Shortcut screen:

Thansk, it's interesting.
But I would like a simpler solution: since the app allows to join the cameras into groups, it would be enough to be able to set "At home" or "Away" for each group, instead of ALL the cameras.
I hope the developers read this suggest

Hello, good afternoon. I’m sharing this post. I have 6 cameras around the perimeter of my house and I need to be able to configure and customize their behavior depending on the activity I’m doing. In addition to the Home mode and Away mode, I need a Sleep mode, and a mode for when we use the Barbecue. Having the possibility to create custom modes would be a success. And at the same time, it would be great if they could be controlled with Google Assistant. Another thing I couldn’t figure out how to do is to trigger a mode automatically when I arrive home or when I leave. Thanks for whatever you can do!!
