Model: Tapo C320WS
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.5

Updating firmware to 1.1.6 Build 231114 Rel.55705n crashes or stalls the camera.  Turn power off then on returns camera function but with firmware 1.0.5 still installed.

Hi,
Please ensure the router that Tapo C320WS is connected to has internet access, and you can refer to the link below to troubleshoot.
What to do if firmware update of my Tapo smart devices fails?

Note: Please do not power off the camera during the upgrading process.

Best Regards

  @Solla-topee

How can I tell if the camera is accessing the internet?
Note: the camera is wire [not wireless] to the router and router does have internet connection.

Hi,
You can check the LED status on the camera and check the time & date on the camera's Live View page to see if it's online. Usually, when the camera has a solid green light and the time & date are correct on the Live View page, it is connected to the internet.
Then you can try the suggestions below to troubleshoot.
What to do if firmware update of my Tapo smart devices fails?

Best Regards
