I think the problem may be related to the camera settings, please help confirm the following information for further analysis.
1. If you have configured Away Mode, have you configured Home Mode? If so, would you please describe your Home Mode settings?

2. Please send me a picture of the Notifications page on the Tapo app> camera's Device Settings page.

3. When you receive a notification that says the camera detects an event outside the activity zone, what kind of notification(such as person, motion, etc.) have you received? Please go to the camera's Device Settings>Detection page soon to check if the settings are the same as you configured on the Away Mode.
