Tapo C220's mic noises
I've use the C220 for 1 month, and found out that its mic is so bad.
It's like the noise reduction too much, makes the recording misses pretty much important sound.
The recording is attached to this thread, please increase the volume to hear the noises!

Based on the video clip and the troubleshooting you did, it may be your camera has an hardware issue, you can contact your retailer or local support to check if your camera is under warranty. You can also contact your retailer to check if you can return the camera if you do not want to use it.

I bought a c220 today. Video is good but audio is way too muffled. Audio filters too pronounced. May i test the new firmware?
I have the latest: Versione:1.1.9 Build 240223 Rel.56143n

Now is very good! It is possible to listen every subtle sound, i like to hear the background hiss, no more digital filter/noise cancellation gargling sounds. Wonderful! Hope to be implemented in every new firmware. Or let the user choose to enable or disable noise cancelling.

Only a question: could it possibly happen that the new firmware that will update the camera will not have this modification of the beta version (removal of noise cancellation) and therefore the problem with the microphone will return?

@Manny77 Моë мнение, не стоит обновлять, если выйдет прошивка массовая. Недавно столкнулся на TC40 , прилетела 1.1.4 , до этого была 1.1.3 почти 2 месяца(купил недавно) , и всë - конец звуку. Добится откатить по MAC адресу на старую прошивку, пока не получается. Отключил на других моделях автообновление, потому что на них отличнейший звук, и если на них прилетят такие же обновления, проблем будет ещë больше. Тут - думается, лучше принцип - работает - не трогай

But if the official firmware will contain the audio modification (disable noise cancelling) we can update with it!
