Installed firmware 1.1.14. Unfortunately, the noise suppressor is activated again. Its settings are not as strict as before, but it still distorts quiet background sounds beyond recognition. Make the firmware without noise suppression, please. And even better - add a button to turn off noise suppression in the application interface.

Yes, indeed - with a quiet sound source - trouble, strong distortion. It's not entirely clear, apparently different teams are working, with difficulty - but we managed to achieve the perfect sound on the TC40, only by corresponding with support by mail.

The same story with the c220 - in the beta firmware there was background white noise, which did not interfere at all, but quiet sounds were recorded and recognized perfectly. In the final firmware, the noise suppressor again cuts off low-level sounds and it is impossible to recognize them.

I think it's better to turn to the development team for help, who were able to make a perfect and crystal-clear sound for the TC40. Or who wrote for C320WS and C210 - where is the same good sound.

  @Solla-topee I have the same problem with all of my C220s.  The audio is unusable.  I also have some C325WB cameras and the audio is fine on those.  I have hardware version 1.0 and firmware 11.17 on my C220 cameras.

The latest official firmware 1.1.14 of Tapo C220 does not include the relevant improvements to audio quality, and we are trying to apply the improvements to the subsequent official firmware.
If you have upgraded to the latest firmware 1.1.14, and need to improve audio quality, please send me(@Solla-topee) the camera's MAC address via a private message for a new firmware.

  @Jon_Gault Okay, I sent you a private message with the MAC addresses of my C220s.  I have them set for automatic updates.  Should I leave them in automatic update mode?
