Model: Tapo C100
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I tried updating the firmware for my C100v1 the other day and camera was unresponsive after update. Now the camera LED does not work and the camera will not reset.  Tried manual firmware update and reset procedures found here: https://community.tp-link.com/en/smart-home/forum/topic/608500?ssp=1&setlang=en-CA&safesearch=moderate

to no avail. including:

-factory reset (https://community.tp-link.com/en/smart-home/kb/detail/608)

-manual FW update (https://static.tp-link.com/upload/manual/2023/202312/20231204/How%20to%20manually%20upgrade%20the%20firmware%20of%20the%20Tapo%20Camera%20with%20a%20microSD%20card.pdf)

in all cases the LED never flashes and the wifi is not broadcasting.

The camera was working before the update was  applied.

Any help would be appreciated.

  @ECUser

Hi,
If you have tried all the troubleshooting already, but the camera has an abnormal LED, it may be the camera is faulty, and you can contact the retailer or local support to check if the camera is under warranty.
Best Regards
