Tapo camera snooze (pause) notifications for time period
A useful feature available in other cameras is to be able to snooze notifications for a selectable period of time (30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hour, ...). This shortcut would avoid having to remember to turn notifications back on.
It can be useful when there are a lot of nuisance notifications (because some is cleaning/gardening or the wind is blowing and causing lots of false positives).

I decided to "upgrade" my Eufy system to Tapo when my Homebase failed and only discovered that this functionality was unavailable when installing my cameras. I cannot believe this had been ignored for two years, Eufy had been doing this for at least five years! The cameras are nice functionality is more important. My Tapo kit is boxed up and ready to go back to Amazon. I only post this so that you can tell your product managers that this is losing sales.

Another vote for this! I used Privacy Mode on Friday as I was working just in front of the doorbell...then wondered why I had parcels outside today and no notification!

Hi,
Usually, if your camera enables privacy mode, it will stop detecting events and recording, and it's normal not to receive detection notifications when privacy mode is enabled.
If the privacy mode is disabled but you do not receive notifications, the following instructions may help: What to do if I can't receive notifications with the Tapo Cam or have a delayed notification
Best Regards
