Automation with energy consumption
Automation with energy consumption
Hello, if the socket allows you to measure electricity consumption, does it also allow, if I create automation in the Tapo app with it, to use e.g. instantaneous consumption or voltage, power as a trigger? I.e. eg "Add starter-> Start device -> P110 -> when socket current < 100mA -> start another socket"? Thanks.

Another use case: I want to know if my EV charged during the day, so a trigger at 11pm to send a notification if a certain amount of power was (or was not) drawn during the day.

I'd also like to see this. My usecase would be, knowing when a dehumidifier is full as the power draw drops to 0. Same with a washing machine. Be nice to set up a notification.

I have two pieces of audio hardware that are always switched on or off at the same time. One unit has to be 'shut down' properly (so I can't just cut the power remotely). I would like to detect when the first unit has shut down, then have the other unit cut power automatically.

This feel like a no-brainer from a business point of view since you need at least two Tapos to make it work!
