Hi all,

I've been using a C120 as a baby monitor which has been working great for the last four months or so. I updated the firmware to 1.2.1 and now the rtsp stream stops after a few hours, instead of staying on for about 10 hours. I use an old iPad and vlc to monitor the stream

Not sure if the firmware update has anything to do with it or something else is stopping it.

Any help would be great thanks

Hi，
The latest firmware of the Tapo C120 still supports the RTSP/ONVIF protocol, and usually, it won't disconnect the connection after it works for several hours.
In this situation, please confirm:
1. Are there any changes when the RTSP connection disconnects?
2. How many devices stream the camera's live feed, including the Tapo app and RTSP connection?
3. Have you inserted an SD card into the camera? Has the camera subscribed to the Tapo Care service?
4. Any error message appears when the RTSP connection disconnects?
