Model: Tapo C425
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.2.18

Hi

I have recently purchased a C425 and I now realized that TP-LInk Wireless cameras don't support RTSP or ONVIF (https://community.tp-link.com/en/smart-home/forum/topic/673402?replyId=1377704) due to battery consumption.

But, there should be a way to communicate with these cameras, otherwise the Tapo app itself couldn't connect to it and stream the video from anywhere in the world. I was wondering if it is using any standard protocol or if it's a proprietary protocol? It will be quite useful to access the camera from Home Assist or Node-Red if I could know the underlying protocol.

Regards

EZM
