C500 user instructions/manual/video
Just installed my new c500 yesterday. Not my first Tapo. I'm familiar with the app.
I'm befuddled by the features on this one though relating to blocking off areas to NOT film/record/view and blocking off areas to not pick up activity.
Is there a manual? Instructions? A great clear YouTube video in plain English?

@Solla-topee Hi. thanks for that which I didn't have.
My issue is with Motion Detection. Activity Zones. 'the settings only apply to the current camera view . When the camera is rotated the camera view changes and the settings will not apply.'
THis is what I am having an issue with. It seems to be hit and miss as to saving those activity zones per view and not saving them.
Can I save them for each different view? Permanently?

The activity zones only apply to the current camera view, and it's unable to save different activity zones for different views now.
Could you please describe your usage scenario? Maybe other features on the Tapo C500 will be helpful.

My usage scenario is a large long yard. I don't want the camera to pick up activities/movement outside of my yard - ie next door/on the street.
I had understood this to be the right camera for my needs. Maybe it isn't?

Hi,
Based on your description of the camera usage scenario, Tapo C500 can meet your needs. For example, on the camera's monitor area, if there is an area that does not belong to your yard after the camera is installed, you can set the activity zone to only pick up events in the activity zone. However, please note that Tapo Camera currently does not support saving different activity zones for different camera viewpoints.
