Update on June 3, 2025.

More and more Tapo Cameras are now supporting working with the Tapo hub through firmware upgrades. For example, cameras support Wi-Fi connection with Tapo Hub H200 and store video clips to the Hub. You can refer to the following link or check the camera's firmware release notes on our official website under the camera's Support page for detailed information.

Hi,
1. The Tapo H200 can connect to the router via Wi-Fi and ethernet cable to work. The motion sensor needs to connect to the hub via the Sub-G network to work.

2. The Tapo C320WS can't connect to the Tapo H200 to work, and it needs to connect to the router via 2.4G Wi-Fi or ethernet cable to work.

3. Typically, when the Tapo C320WS and the Tapo H200 are bound to the same TP-Link account, they can work together via the Smart Action feature to achieve some usage scenarios. For example, when the motion sensor detects motions, triggers the camera to turn on/off the privacy mode.

Best Regards
