Hi,

 

I have been using the doorbell for a couple of weeks now and I notice that not all people/cars/etc passing by are being recorded. A notification is also not being send. In general the device seems to work just fine, but on several occassions I noticed cars driving away that had never come in (according to the recording/notifications). 

 

Does anyone know how to solve this issue?

Please check the doorbell detection settings (enter device page > Device Settings > Detection > Wake-up Settings), and verify which detection type you chose.

 

When "Doorbell Pressed" is selected, the camera starts to detect and record when someone presses the doorbell. 

When "Event Detectedf" is selected, the camera wakes up when detecting movement and then starts detection and recording.

  @Wayne-TP Thanks for your reply. Unfortunately, the settings here are already in place as you described. I have set the sensitivity higher (10) but still I can't see my car (which is not very small) leave the premises in the morning. No video was captured at all. Other times, I do see people walking by, coming in, leaving, etc.

In addition to that, it seems that in some cases the first part of the video is missing (the car is already half-way out of sight for example)

 

I am not sure what to do. Any help would be welome.
