Model: TC60
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Not known

When I try to connect my TC60 camera to my TP-Link Archer C80 router, the TC60 LED flashes red swowly, router does not allocate an ip addreess, and camera says Format SD card. I'm not able to use the Panasonic SD Formatter as I have a UBuntu (i.e. NOT a Wondwos one) computer. So I used GParted on my computer, formatting it to Fat32. However, still same problem. So what file system should I use to format the SD card?

With my C310 camera, when I connect by ethernet, I see the video from the camera. When I put in an SD card, the camera says to format it. However, despite what it says in the camera's guidance on the internet, the Tapo Android app does not have a facility to do this formatting. I can format it on my computer using the GParted app but I need to know the required File System. What is it?

Hi,
After you insert a microSD card into the camera, it's suggested to refer to the below steps to format the SD card.
    1) Go to the camera's Device Settings page and navigate to the Storage & Recordings page.
    2) Click on Local Storage.
    3) Tap Format microSD Card to format the inserted SD card.

If your camera fails to connect to the router's Wi-Fi, please refer to the steps below to test if it can connect to other Wi-Fi networks.
    1) Enable a 2.4G hotspot Wi-Fi on your phone.
    2) Factory reset the camera.
    3) Reconfigure it with another phone and connect it to the hotspot Wi-Fi: How to set up the Tapo camera
    4) Check if the camera can connect to the hotspot Wi-Fi successfully.

Best Regards

@Solla-topee I am able to connect my C310 using Ethernet cable I was then able to let the Tapo app format my SD card. I was then able to see various options in the app *e.g. manually record).. But when I disconnect the ethernet cable and try to connect by wifi, I get Red light blinking slowly and C80 router still does not allocate ip address using DHCP Server. What do I do now?

Hi,
If the camera fails to connect to the router's Wi-Fi, you can check/change the settings on the router:
    1. Make sure your router does not block the camera's wireless MAC address.
    2. Ensure you have typed the correct password when connecting the camera to the router's Wi-Fi.
    3. You can change the router's wireless name and password to another one with numbers and letters only, then test if the camera can connect or not.

If the camera is still unable to connect to the router's Wi-Fi, please refer to the suggestion in this post to connect the camera to another Wi-Fi network for a try.

Best Regards
