Hello,

 

We recently purchased 3 tapo ws520ws. Configuration on the tapo app and updating firmware on the 3 devices and setting up ONVIF account went without issues. However, all 3 cameras are not detected in the vigi nvr add camera wizard. If I enter the manually enter the IP address, the nvr states that the device does not exist. I've restarted the nvr and cameras, all devices are on the same network, and there are no notifications in the Omada logs about the cameras being blocked.

 

- 3 tapo ws520ws cameras connecting wireless on the same network as the NVR

- VIGI NVR1008H-8P with 5 existing POE cameras

 

Can someone please assist?

Issue resolved

 

The WiFi ssid was set to guest and was not allowed to communicate with the NVR.

Hi,
The problem may be related to the network diagram, and please confirm:
    1. Describe your network diagram in detail.
    2. Connect a PC to the same Wi-Fi as the Tapo C520WS, and check if you can ping the camera and NVR's IP address successfully on the PC. Connect the PC to the router as the NVR, and check if you can ping the camera and NVR's IP address successfully.
