Model: Tapo C310
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.11

I installed Tapo app version 3.2.808 on my Windows 11 PC using Windows Subsystems for Android version 2311.40000.5.0 back in february and everything worked wonderfully. Now, several months later without changing anything at all as far as I know the Tapo app now crashes. I updated the app to latest version 3.7.811 to see if it would solve anything but that crashes as well. All I see is the logo for around 30 seconds or so and then the app just disappear from view. Checking the adb logcat I can see that it crashes with an ANR. I dumped the log to logpaste[dot]com/XSAb8yT1.

Hi,
The Tapo app is designed for mobile phones, it's recommended to install the Tapo app on your phone to manage your Tapo devices. We are unable to promise the Tapo app will work fine on a Windows PC even if it uses Windows Subsystems for Android.

If you want to watch the camera's live feed on a Windows PC, please refer to the instructions below.
How to view Tapo camera on PC/NAS/NVR through RTSP/Onvif Protocol

Best Regards

@Solla-topee Yeah, I can understand that. The reason I use it on my PC is because I can install it with various DPI settings and then resize the app to make it very big and this makes it much easier to set small and detailed privacy zones on my cameras. This is almost impossible on a phone today. Take this screenshot from my Pixel 6a as an example:

privacy zones

It's impossible to resize the area with an X symbol above.

Hi,
If you have a tablet or iPad, you can install the Tapo app on it and check if it helps.
Best Regards
