Model: Tapo C210
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.3.7

I bought 3 C210 camera recently. All three of them can only be accessed on my home network (LAN), but not from the internet.

I can use the Tapo app at home and the cameras work fine. There app display the following message next to each camera: "This smart device can only be controlled locally"

I have tried the following:

- resetting all the cameras

- updating the camera firmware (message was "Firmware up to date")

- Modifiying the DNS to 8.8.8.8

There are no special Firewall rules, Access Control, and Parental Control entries on my home modem/router. I've tried placing the cameras right next to the modem/router. They still dont work outside the home.

Hi,
You can try to enable a hotspot Wi-Fi on your phone, factory reset a camera, reconfigure it with a different phone, connect it to the hotspot Wi-Fi, and then check if you can control it remotely.

If the problem remains, please send me(@Solla-topee) the cameras' MAC addresses via a private message.

Best Regards
