Hi,
I have escalated your case to our tech team, and they will contact you via email to further assist you. Please wait patiently.

It's recommended to send the camera log and your router's model number to the tech team via email.

  @Solla-topee

I am experiencing the same issues as described several times in other posts.

I have a C410 camera which worked fine until about 1-2 months ago when it simply started going offline and doesn't record anything.
I used to have the camera outside connected to the solar panel and initially I thought it was a battery issue (not charging enough due to lack of sunlight - winter), but I also tried connecting it directly to a power source and the issue remains.
I did no changes to my network, I have a Deco mesh system in place and several other Tapo Camaras (3*C210, C520, etc) connected to the same system and they work fine.
I've tried putting the camara directly next to the Wi-Fi, with no changes.
The only time when the camera is able to detect any movement is if I'm accessing the camera directly and am viewing it live.

I've turned on the diagnosis, but when checking the log, it doesn't really seem to help.

What else can I do?

Hi,
You can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot if the camera keeps going offline.
What should I do if my Tapo smart device keeps losing connection or going offline?

If the phenomenon remains, please confirm the following information.
1. The test results of the above tips.
2. LED status on the camera when it's offline.
3. How often does the issue happen? How do you recover the connection after the camera goes offline?
4. When your phone is on the same network as the camera, is the camera displayed online in the Tapo app?
5. Please send me (@Solla-topee) the camera's MAC address via a private message.

Best Regards

Hi,
Thank you for the information provided via a private message. In your case, it seems that the camera can't be woken up by events. Please refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot.

1. Refer to the following instructions to ensure the movements/events occur within the camera's detection range.
Detection Range Test: test the activity detection zone of the Tapo Battery Camera

2. You can refer to Part 2 in the instructions below to troubleshoot if the camera's Detection feature is not working after exiting the Tapo app.
What to do if the Detection feature is not working on the TP-Link Camera?

3. If you don't access the camera via the app for 1-2 days, do you need to press the on/off button on the camera for 3 seconds to turn it on?

Best Regards

Hi,

I've tried all of the suggested tips.
For 1. & 2. The detection range test does not work at all, it does not pick up anything, even if I'm standing right in front of the camera and moving around.

I've adjusted the sensitivity settings while perfomring this test with no results. I think I've exausted all possibilities and the firmware is up to date.

3.After the  1-2 days without trying to access the camera and it goes offline/shuts down, then I need to press the power on/off button on the camera for it to come back to life.

I think I have no other option than to return this camera as it seems to me it doesn't work properly...

Hi,
If the camera does not respond (no light or sound alarm) when you follow this thread to test the detection range, it may be that the camera has a problem. You can contact your retailer or our local support team to check if the camera is under warranty.
Best Regards
