Hi,
You can refer to the instructions below to troubleshoot the reported issue.
What to do if the Detection feature is not working on the TP-Link Camera?
 

Please confirm the following information if the problem remains.
  1. What's the model number of your camera? Please send me(@Solla-topee) the MAC address of your camera via a private message.
  2. Go to the camera's Device Settings > Detection page, send us a picture of this page and the pictures of the enabled detection types.
  3. Can you share a video showing the motion that can't trigger the camera's detection feature to work?
