Model: Tapo C500
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: version:1.0.4 Build20240902Rel.38194n

After a few times tracking movement, vertical base position is lost and sensing area moves with new base position. Having to re calibrate position up to 6 times per day.

Is it possible to have the re calibration to operate on a time basis so it would correct itself.

Hi,
For the phenomenon that your camera can't return to the original position(original position offset) after tracking, you can refer to the following instructions for further assistance.
What to do if the Tapo Pan/Tilt camera can't return to its original position properly after tracking
Best Regards

Hi,
Currently, there is no feature on the camera to correct the pan & tilt position based on a time schedule.
When did you buy the camera, and when did the problem start to occur?
Best Regards

@KevLowe I have the same problem, I just bought a Tapo c500, is this normal or is there a reason to activate the warranty?
