Camera is refusing to update the firmware
latest firmware should be 1.4.0?

If you have a TC70 V5, the latest firmware version is 1.1.4 Build 241219 Rel.57752n rather than 1.4.0.
Since the new firmware 1.1.4 Build 241219 Rel.57752n is being released gradually, some TC70 can't detect it. We suggest you wait patiently for the new firmware to be released to your camera.
