Hey,

I would like to see the camera image on my smart TV (Android).

ONVIF/RTSP, not supported, okay, but then how can I watch it?

If I can't watch it on TV: I've already installed it, but I want my money back!

RTSP protocol: 1998.

ONVIF protocol: 2008.

It's 2025. There must be a solution.

If there is no solution: this is a defective product. No one should buy a camera like this.

The phone's display is too small and watching TV is a basic thought/wish with cameras in 2025.

In phone: how can I see my baby?

This camera is not cheap and what I would like is not extra feature. This is basic feature.

Please help me. Thanks.

Hi,
Typically, the Tapo app can be installed on Android phones and tablets. If your Android smart TV has a Google Play store, you can try to search for the Tapo app and install it if there is, then check if you can watch the camera.
If the Tapo app is not available on your Android TV, it's recommended to contact your retailer to check if you can return the camera if you just purchased it and must watch it via the Android TV.

I bought 3 TVs this year. I tried. It doesn't work. I also watched it with 2 set top boxes (Android). It doesn't work too. I'll break the camera and mail it to tp-link company. Think about it a bit.

I loved this brand, but I will never buy this brand again. Never.

Tapo app with phone, tablet and chromebook: available, but not with these: pc, notebook and tv (and set top boxes). TC82 KIT is faulty and bad. In 2025: not supported with larger displays!? I could have bought a webcam for 10 bucks.

+ 1 bonus: few videos are lagging.
