Tapo C225: No recordings during the crucial ten minutes
I bought two Tapo C225 cameras and installed them in the long hallway of my house.
The first camera is installed inside my house. It is aimed at the front door which everyone, including me, has to open in order to go into my house.
From that door to the staircase leading to the second level of my house is a long hallway.
The second camera in installed so that it records anyone who steps onto the staircase to go up to the second level of my house.
A strange, inexplicable event occurred yesterday.
Five of my close relatives visited me yesterday to celebrate a special occasion. I was the one who opened the front door to let them into my house.
For about ten minutes --from the time they entered my house through the front door to the time they went up with me to the second level of my house-- they were no recordings at all. Both cameras did not record the ten minutes of the event.
What happened? I can understand if one camera fails to record but both of them?
According to official documentation provided by Tapo/TP-Link, internet access or WiFi connectivity is not required of Tapo C225 to record videos because all recordings are made onto each of my two microSD cards.
The brand of my microSD cards is SanDisk Max Endurance Pro, 256GB.
I have loop recording enabled for my two C225 cameras.
I do not subscribed to Tapo Care Cloud Storage.
I would appreciate it if technical support could explain why my two C225 cameras failed to record the crucial ten minutes of the event that took place yesterday.
