Mounting piece is too much rigid

When you put the mounting plastic piece on to the camera, it is almost impossible to demount it without harming the device. This is the case since many years also by other earlier tp-link cameras. It should be easyly with less force to remove it from camera.

Hi,
As you can see in the Tapo C210's QIG, you can mount the camera base, then attach the camera on the base and rotate to secure the camera. If you want to demount the base, you can rotate the camera from the base and then demount the base. Usually, this won't harm the camera.
