Model: TC65
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: v1.4.1

Hi,

Can you please open a ticket for this issue?

TP-Link TC65 camera

HW: v1.0

FW: v.1.4.1

Description: Static IP was configured for the device via the Tapo app. Now want it DHCP. The config can be removed but it doesn't survive a restart (i.e., manual/scheduled reboot will activate the static settings again).

Thank you.

Hi,
You can check if the following instructions are helpful.
Why does my Tapo camera automatically enable the Static IP option?

Please let me know if the camera has not connected to any third-party apps/programs.

Best Regards

Hi,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes, I have a 3rd party client app on my AndroidTV called tinyCam Pro (https://play.google.com/store/search?q=tinycam+pro&c=apps&hl=en) that is installed in my bedroom TV. I use this since there is no VIGI nor Tapo app available on AndroidTV.

My primary NVR is Vigi which runs on an NVR1016H HW box. I still need the 3rd party client though because the Vigi NVR is connected to a TV downstairs.

Will doing a hard reset fix this problem or will it populate it with values assigned by the router anyway (after resetting)? Or maybe I can downgrade the camera FW? Is there some other solution?

Thanks,

Albert

Hi,
If you want to keep streaming the TC65 on the tinyCam app but do not use a static IP on the camera, please send me(@Solla-topee) "Forum ID 760628 + TC65's MAC address" via a private message.
Best Regards
