Hi,
1. If you have subscribed to the Tapo Care service and the camera does not store the new recordings on our cloud server, you can refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot.

2. If you have stored the video recordings to the inserted SD card and the camera stops recordings, please refer to the following steps to troubleshoot.
    1) Refer to the instructions "How can I store the Tapo camera video recordings on a microSD card" to ensure the camera storage settings are correct.

    2) Pay attention to the "Recording Schedule" settings on the camera's Device Settings > Storage & Recording page. If you select Detection Recording, refer to the instructions to ensure the camera Detection settings are correct and the Detection feature is working, since if the camera does not detect any events, it will not record any video.


    3) You can try to format the SD card on the Tapo app and then check if the recording feature will work.

 

Please confirm the following information if the problem remains.
    1) The model number, format, and capacity of your SD card.
    2) A picture of the Recording Schedule page.
