Hi

 

 

 

Mention detection itself works fine but the zone does not.

 

Actually I have a tree close to the camera so I set a zone that excludes the tree since when it moves because of wind it is detected and I don't want that.

 

However even if tree is out of the zone it is still detected when moving. Then camera starts to follows leaf moving forever.

 

I tried different zone for human and movent or same but still tree always detected. 

 

Is it a bug? Or am I missing something

Ps

I understood that zone works if there is no mention tracking.

However I need camera to track person but no get corrupted by tree leaf.

Can you enhance app to have the zone detection working even during mention tracking.

 

PS2:

Even without Moving it detects leaf shadow on wall....

Can you enable human detection with mention tracking without mention detection.

I mean I want a human mention tracking only but app does not allow human detection without mention detection enabled.

Hi,
Typically, only the motion within the detection zone can initially trigger the Tapo C510W's Motion Tracking feature to work. Currently, Tapo C510W does not support the function of tracking only a person.

 

In your case, could you please provide a video showing the problem and a screenshot of the camera's Device Settings > Detection page so that we can check whether the camera's Detection and Motion Tracking features are working properly?

You can upload the video and screenshot to your cloud server(such as Google Drive), generate links to download them, and send me(@Solla-topee) the links via a private message.

 

If you want a camera to track only a person, it is recommended to contact the retailer to see if you can change your camera to Tapo C520WS or C530WS.
