I have two, one has never found the network from a TP-Link router that is right next to it! and the other has been difficult but I have been lucky to get it to work. I have now switched to a newer TP-Link router and now they cannot see the network at all even though it is right next to them! When I first set it up it could briefly see the network but then nothing, how can a manufacturer make the same product that cannot even talk to each other?

I've tried all the bad advice about moving closer to network, new network name/code, hotspot, different mobile/tablet, reset.

Typically, you can refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot when you fail to configure the camera.
What should I do if I fail to configure Tapo Camera?

If the problem remains, you can try the following tips and confirm the following information.
1. What's the model number of the TP-Link router? Please check if the Smart Connect on the router is enabled. If yes, disable it, and set the 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi channel to 1-11. Then reconfigure the camera for a try.
2. Can you see the other Wi-Fi networks when configuring the camera?
3. Can you find the router's SSID on your phone and connect to it to go to the internet?

4. Please ensure the Tapo app is up to date.
