Hi,
Can I plug my brand new C325WB camera into a PoE switch? V1 1.3.4 firmware.
Thanks

Hi,
The Tapo C325WB V1 does not support being powered by a PoE switch. However, it can connect to the switch by an ethernet cable to go to the internet.
The Tapo C325WB V2 supports 802.3 af/at PoE standards.
Best Regards

Thanks. So I discovered when I looked to the right of the message box seconds after I posted.
I have contacted my online dealer to see if they will accept the V1 back as outdated/obsolete stock.
I am using my phone to view the live and recorded video on the C325 with an SD card.
I tried wireless but had better results with a cable to my C7 router.
I still can't view the video on my PC despite trying several popular media players. OBS, CLC, iSpy, etc.
All reported errors. I am getting hundreds of false reports due to tree and hedge movement in the wind.
So I have given up on Tapo and ordered a 4K camera and PoE switch from a popular competitor.
Plug n' play apparently.
If the dealer won't take the Tapo camera back I'll just sell it on at a loss.
Thanks again for your response.

Hi,
Thank you for your support of our product, and hope you can enjoy your new device.
For the reported issues, the following tips may be helpful.
1. Typically, you can refer to the following instructions to troubleshoot if you fail to establish the RTSP/Onvif connection.
What can I do if fail to stream the Tapo camera via the RTSP/ONVIF protocol?
2. For your detection issue, you may try to set detection zones and adjust both detection sensitivity and the camera's position to see if they are helpful.
Best Regards
