Was rewatching footage stored in the cloud recorded this morning at 0955 when the system started buffering, lost connection and then all history disappeared. 

 

Had intended to select the desired footage and save but the system went down before I could do this. It appears that the TapoCare package was due to renew today and it looks as though it has. 

 

Recordings have restarted and have been saved to the cloud from 1240 today (time the above happened). All history has been lost. 

 

Is there anyway to recover the lost footage? It was vital evidence for an issue I'm having. 

 

Any ideas much appreciated

Hi, 
Typically, if a Tapo camera has continuously subscribed to the Tapo Care service and the camera owner has not manually deleted any cloud video clips, the clips can be stored on our cloud server for up to 7 or 30 days(depending on the subscribed Tapo Care plan.)

 

For the reported issue, please confirm the following information:
  1. Are no video clips visible on the Tapo app > Cameras tab > Cloud Activity page?
  2. Please check if you have enjoyed the Tapo Care plan on the Tapo app > Me > Tapo Care page. You can send us a picture of the Tapo Care page.
