Sound detection disabled but still notified

Hello
I disabled the sound detection but I still receive notifications when there is a big noise (an engine starting up).
Is that normal? How can I fix it?

Hi,
The Tapo C210 supports Motion Detection, Person Detection, and Baby Cry Detection. Only the Baby Cry Detection belongs to the sound detection category, and not all sounds will trigger the Baby Cry Detection. Usually, when Baby Cry Detection is enabled, only the baby's cry can trigger Baby Cry Detection.
In your situation, if the camera does not detect a person but you receive the person detection notification, please provide the following information for further analysis.
1. Insert an SD card into the camera for storing video recordings. Below are the instructions to configure the storage settings.

2. If you receive a person detection notification but no person is detected, please record the date and time you received the notification.
Go to the Tapo app > Camera's Live View > Playback & Download > Playback > SD card page, select the date, and find the corresponding person detection video clip according to the time. Then,
1) Please send me a screenshot of the Playback page that shows the video clip is triggered by person detection.
2) Download the video clip and send it to us.
You can upload the video and picture to your cloud server (such as Google Drive), generate a download link, and send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.

Please confirm the following information for the reported issue.
1. Please check the enabled detection types on the camera's Device Settings > Detection page and send us the info.
2. What kind of notification have you received when there is a big noise? For example, motion-detected notification, person-detected notification, or other.
3. Please go to the Tapo app > Smart tab to check if there are any automation entries related to your camera. If so, confirm whether the notification sent to you was caused by automation entries.

Here are the types of detection enabled :
- move detection
- people detection
- camera falsification
I receive people detection notifications. It seems that this kind of detection uses sounds.
No automation entries.

Hi,
Typically, if you receive a person detection notification, it means the camera detects the person rather than the sound.
If you have subscribed to the Tapo Care plan or have an SD card inserted into the camera for storing video clips, please find the corresponding video clip related to the received person detection notification and then check if a person is detected in the video.

I did the test when I was at home. So I am sure it was not a person.
So I consider it is a bug of your software.
