starlight mode not working
Before few days I bought one camera C520WS but starlight mode not working.
I tried to solve this with the help of local tp-link office but the problem remains.

With the Auto mode selected on the camera's Live View page and Smart mode on the Night Mode settings page, usually, the camera's spotlight will turn on at night to display colorful images when it detects events.
Does the camera not turn on the spotlight at night when it detects events, so that you say its starlight mode is not working? I'm not sure why you say the camera's starlight mode is not working since the starlight sensor is built into the camera, and it works all the time.
By the way, we do not recommend positioning the camera behind the window because the reflection of the infrared light and the spotlight will prevent the camera from detecting events.

1. On the camera's Live View > Video Mode page, have you selected Auto, Day, or Night mode?
2. On the camera's Device Settings > Video & Display > Night Mode Settings page, which mode have you selected?
3. Please describe the usage scenario when you test that the camera's starlight mode is not working.

Hello, thank you for your reply. 1. The day/night option is on auto. 2. The option in the camera settings is on smart mode.
3. As for the scenario, I don't understand what exactly you want me to answer, I simply have to say that these cameras have a very clear image with starlight which makes it much easier to see details at night at a considerable distance, in contrast to infrared and the projector which, due to reflection, prevents the appearance of details in the image.
As for the camera location, it is on the roof of the building under the stars.
