H500 ONVIF Support

Hi,
I just set up my new Tapo H500 Smart Hub. A key reason I bought it was the advertised support for third-party cameras.
The official TP-Link product page (link here: https://tp-link.com/nordic/home-networking/smart-hub/tapo-h500/) clearly states it supports up to "16 Tapo or ONVIF cameras."
However, I'm completely stuck trying to add my existing non-Tapo, ONVIF-compliant cameras. When I go to add a device in the Tapo app, it only seems to search for other Tapo products. I can't find any option to manually add a camera by its IP address, which is how you'd typically add an ONVIF device. 🤔
Am I missing something obvious in the settings? Has anyone successfully connected a third-party ONVIF camera to the H500 hub?
It feels a bit misleading to advertise ONVIF support if there's no way to actually use it. Any help or clarification would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your interest and support for our product. We appreciate your feedback.
As far as I can check, Tapo H500 currently doesn't function as the central hub for connecting non-Tapo, ONVIF-compliant cameras. At this time, it can only work with our Tapo cameras. If you purchased the H500 specifically for this feature, we regret to inform you that we can only recommend a return, as this feature is currently not available. Should you encounter any difficulties with the return process, we are more than happy to assist you.

@Tdawg I don't think so it's has ONVIF, the link you provided says 16 TAPO cameras. Tapo will never allow 3rd party cameras to be routed into this hub, it's loss making decision. So forget about ONVIF.

No, it clearly says Tapo or ONVIF cameras and so did the specs in the store I bought it from.
"Your Smart Home Ecosystem Center
Tapo H500 acts as the central hub, seamlessly connecting up to 16 Tapo or ONVIF cameras and 64 Tapo Sub-G sensors, empowering you to build your own comprehensive smart home ecosystem. With Matter support, the H500 effortlessly integrates various smart devices, simplifying your entire smart home setup."

Just a note that the Amazon site that I purchased my device through states: The Tapo Store link does not state it on Amazon.
- MATTER AND ONVIF COMPATIBILITY - Supports Matter for seamless integration of Matter certified products into the Tapo ecosystem as well as connecting to other Matter compatible systems for unified control. ONVIF support is scheduled for future updates.
