I have this particular camera in my summer home and after 1 day of being offline due to no internet the app deleted it as a device and I can't find it anywhere. The problem is the summer house that the device is located at is too far away and I can't physically get to in order reconnect it to the app. Is there anything else I can do? Is this problem common? It's happened to me before with smart plugs.

Hi,
1. If the camera disappears from the Tapo app and it's located far away from you, it's unable to do anything now. You can factory reset the camera and reconfigure it when you are near it. Make sure you can control it remotely, and then test if it will work fine later.

 

2. Is it possible that you or a family member accidentally removed the camera from the Tapo app? To further investigate this phenomenon, please provide the following information: 
  1) The MAC address of your camera. You can send it to me (@Solla-topee) via a private message.
  2) The date and time when the camera disappeared from the app, along with your time zone.
