Hello,

I would like to suggest the following features for this camera model, as well as for future models, if possible:

 

  1. The ability to manually disable the 3DNR (3D Noise Reduction) function;

  2. A desktop application for Windows and/or Linux, or alternatively a web-based app;

  3. Improved night-time detection of meteors and fireballs — similar to what Wyze cameras offer (many of us use these Tapo and Wyze cameras for meteor detection, and they are excellent for this purpose).

1. Why do you want to turn off the 3DNR feature? 

 

2. You can vote and leave your usage scenario on the thread "Tapo App availability on Windows" for evaluation.
 

3. Please describe the features or settings that need to be configured on the Tapo C325WB in detail for better detection of meteors and fireballs.

1. Disabling 3DNR at night makes a huge difference, whether you’re detecting people, small animals, meteors or other fast events. It can avoid the blur, background noise and ghosting that 3DNR can introduce in low light, which otherwise might hide or distort brief flashes or even cause the camera to miss these events.

2. In daytime use, 3DNR does a great job of smoothing noise without affecting people detection, face recognition etc., so I want the introduction of a "pro mode" in the Tapo app to be able to disable and modify camera settings, such as 3DNR, shutter speed, ISO if possible...

3. Here in Romania we started to use these very good c325wb cameras for security use, but also at night to detect meteors and fireballs, and they are great!

We have created a strong meteorite detecting community in Romania, together with the Fripon system and GMN (global meteor network) and these cameras help us in "live-view" and for the beginning in this beautiful hobby, being very affordable cameras! Many have started buying these cameras in our group and I want to buy a couple more, but i wait to be solved this problem and we would be very happy! :D
