Night vision doesnt work

Night vision doesn't work in this camera. When I turn off the lights I only see a black dark screen recording.
I already tried the following suggested "fixes" :
1. Changing the camera from another environment. Doesn't work. Its the same behavior no matter where I place the camera.
2. Keeping the setting in "Auto". Doesn't work.
3. Changing manually the mode to "night mode". Same behavior.
4. Resetting the camera to initial state using the reset button.
5. Updating the firmware to the latest version.
Any help will be appreciated.

Please provide the following information for the reported phenomenon.
1. Turn off the camera, power it on with the original power adapter and cord that comes with the camera in the box.
2. Select the Night mode on the camera's Live View page. Is the IR LED on the camera lit up?
3. When the camera is in a dark environment, keep selecting the Night mode on the camera's Live View page, and then send me a screenshot of the camera's Live View page.

Hi,
If the camera displays a black live view page in the Tapo app when it is in a dark environment and selects Night mode, it may be that the camera has an issue. You can contact your retailer or our local support team to check if the camera is under warranty.
