Tapo C200 Default Viewoint
Hello,
Just installed the C200 Pan and Tilt camera and have a question.
I have set up 3 viewpoints. Is it possible to have 1 of these set as default and have it return to the default after a certain length of time?

Thank you for your description. The Smart Action may achieve your usage scenario via a Shortcut entry.
How to create Smart Action (Automation or Shortcut) on Tapo app
For example, you can add the following actions in a shortcut entry.
1) Add a Pan & Tilt control action to pan and tilt the Tapo C200 to a specific position.
2) Add a Delay action to wait for X minutes.
3) Add another Pan & Tilt control action to pan and tilt the camera to another position.

@SlimboyFat I use the Tapo c200 camera and i keep getting a delay in motion alerts on the android app. it takes two ot three seconds before the notification shows up and by that time the movement is already gone. I cleared the cache and reinstalled the app. I updated the firmware. I changed the motion sensitivity from high to medium. I also turned off battery optimization for the app in Android settings. The delay still happens. Is anyone else facing this on Android and what fix worked for you?

Hi,
Currently, if you have enabled the Motion/Auto Tracking feature on your camera, it will return to a default position after tracking if no new event is detected for 30 seconds.
If you want the camera to return to its default position after you pan & tilt it manually and wait for some time, the camera does not currently support this feature. In this situation, please describe the usage scenario and explain why you want this feature for evaluation.

This is going to sound like I am being idle (and that is probably true :) ).
The camera is located to protect a passage that is at the side of the house.
Behind the camera is an outhouse where the tumble dryer is located.
When the dryer is being used I will spin the camera round so I can see if the dryer has finished so I don't need to go out to check.
I know that when it has been used to view the dryer I am going to forget to set it back.
From that viewpoint someone could break in from either front or back garden without being seen by the camera.
